A Litte R&R Cabin Trip!

Where to start... To finish up the great R&R visit, our sister in law Melissa hooked us up with the family condo in Brian Head. And we had a blast!!! When we first went up there, there was no snow... And the last couple days we were there it snowed and snowed and snowed! It was so fun to just relax and watch it snow outside. We took four wheelers up with us and went on several four wheeler rides in the snow... The last day before we headed out we decided to tie sleds up to the back of the four wheelers. We had soooooo much fun! The dogs loved it too, they would just run along side of the sled. They were freezing by the time we were done. I guess we all were!

This is before we headed out, We were pretty excited! We invited our good friends the McArthur Family... It was tons of fun being up there with them.

This is some pictures Luke took of the cabin/condo we were in! It was very relaxing, a good way to end the last of our two weeks together.

Here is what we saw from our balcony... Snow! And of course the club house, which we got to enjoy the sauna after one of our freezing cold four wheeler rides.

And what else.. Food! We had such yummy food! We had breakfast burritos, enchiladas, stew, big yummy sandwiches, french toast, and so much more. We didn't shy away from bringing enough food. There is nothing more relaxing then having a full tummy... We also played lots of games some including, aggravation, battle of the sexes (which the guys won only by cheating.. lol). And we also watched Toy Story 3 a least 100 times... It was the only movie we had and Eli wanted to watch it over and over again. Well we mad lots of memories here and loved to be together. Thanks to all who made it possible! Can't wait till Luke gets back to make some more memories! I love you honey!!!!

Photo Shoot, Part 1

OK, these are pictures we took before Luke came for R&R! It was a surprise, I needed some pictures of us to make for a calender! I think they turned out amazing! My sister Miriam did them, her company is Remember Me Photography. She is an AMAZING photographer! Thank You!

Sweet Baby Thad!

I can't leave out my Baby Thadeus! Well at the Birthday party it was Thadeus's first time eating Solids (Carrots)! He had rice cereal before, but I decided to start him on his veggies. If any of that makes sense... lol! Anyways, he turned 6 months on Nov. 23rd! Can you believe it... So basically he will be 7 months next week.

He is the best baby EVER! And such a blessing to have. He is my saving grace after a hard day! Eli is so challenging some times (Terrible 2's MEMBER) and Thadeus just reminds me that its ok! He reminds me of the great blessing it is to have such amazing stong willed boys! Obviously, I am just a little emotional tonight, but am feeling so grateful for my boys in my life! Thadeus can roll over, sit by himself, and is ALWAYS HAPPY! Seriously he is! Just one smile from that kid and he just melts you... Thank you Thad for being the little sweet baby you are!!! I love you!

Elijah's 2nd Birthday Party!

My Sweet Baby Boy isn't a baby any more! I know this is a very late Blog, but with good reason... My little Eli turned 2 ("sigh")! He turned two Sept 12th.. I decided to wait to celebrate it when Luke came home from R&R. It was just a small little party, that we all could enjoy.

Elijah Dale Park is such an amazing little kid! He loves cars, trains, rocket (little Einsteins), books, Toy Story, his little brother, his daddy, loves being outdoors, and loves to be into everything. He also loves to be a little helper, loves to make his little brother laugh, and basically loves to love anyone he can. He is my little man! I am so grateful for him and probable don't show it enough! He brings the light and love in my life that no one could. He makes me laugh, cry, mad, etc... Just like his daddy does! He is also very much a two year old! I am hoping the fit throwing and the terrible two stage will end soon. But most of all I love to wake up to his smiling face! He is always happy to see me and so willing to show his love to me and everyone else. He teaches me everyday! I am so blessed to have such a sweet and innocent spirit in my life! I love you my little Googy (Eli)!

Well, enough of the sappy mom stuff... We had an awesome party for him. It was Nascar themed! I am so mad I didn't take a picture of the tire we had out front. Luke was so nice to get our spare tire out and put balloons on it, it was outside so everyone new the party was here! So sweet and really neat. Thanks babe! So we had Papa Johns Pizza (my fav), sprite and raspberry sherbet punch, and of course cake and ice cream!

Here are my attempted decorations... Thanks to my mom and Luke for you help. I didn't have much time to do it all. But I think it turned out fantastic!

Presents! Presents! Presents! Eli had a blast opening all of them. Thank you to all who gave him one! He loves every single one of them. At the end of it, he was sick of opening the presents! LOL He just wanted to sit and play with the presents he had! My funny Kid! Well, I just wan to wish my Little Eli a Happy 2nd Birthday! And I am so glad Luke was able to experience it with me...

Picking Luke up!

Traveling back to the U.S. from Afghanistan is a long process... It takes up to a week or more. The day before Luke left he got really sick, he had to have 2 IV's from dehydration. The doctors there were not going to let him come home. But since he had kidney stones there was not much they could do with him there. So Luke's travel home he was passing kidney stones and was heavily drugged with pain meds. So when I finally picked him up at the airport Oct 29th, he looked like a walking ZOMBIE! My poor hubby! My brother in law Matt hooked us up with some great reservation a "THE M RESORT", it was an amazing suite! Thank you Matt! This is a picture of us at the Hotel headed out for some dinner! Which we had Capriotti's... Yum! It was a great night together! I am so grateful to have such an amazing husband. I love you baby!!!

Halloween 2010

Well sorry for the long wait on the post... But I am going to try to completely update the blog within the next few days! Luke says it is my chore for the week.
So... For Halloween we did our dressing up for the Trunk'r'Treat, a few days before Halloween. Luke coming home for R&R somewhere around Halloween, so I we had our Halloween a few days before just in case. Eli dressed up as a pirate... He did not won't to wear all of his costume so you can't really see his outfit in full. Thadeus was a cute little dinosaur, and I was a pretty fairy! (didn't put much thought to any of the costumes, they were all borrowed. I was to stressed with Luke coming home and didn't have much time). Eli went around to all the trunks to get candy and thought it was the greatest thing i the world. It was fun to see him enjoy it this year. Last year he didn't like putting his candy in his bag, he would cry a scream. Didn't understand the part that he was going to get more candy! Anyways, it was a fun year, hopefully next year I can enjoy it a little more!

Congrats!

I forgot to mention the wonderful wedding I went to, while I was up in SLC! Tyler Crook is MARRIED! It was such a beautiful sealing and reception. Tyler and Kayla make a beautiful eternal companions! Congrats you two! Best wishes to the both of you!!

Salt Lake Trip

Well.. I couldn't figure out how to put these pictures in order... SO I am done messing with them and so here you go. Well as you can see we made a trip up to salt lake. We all had a blast. Eli had fun playing with all of his cousins, and especially Grandpa!!! Well above, is Hayden, Jason and Eli... Laura and I thought we should take pictures for memories. And of course to have some embarrassing pictures when they decide to bring there girlfriends home.... TOO CUTE!
So we decided to go to CornBelly's Pumpkin Patch down at Thanksgiving Point. We all had a blast! It was the first time I have ever gone, and I was wondering why the heck it was my first time. It was so awesome. Above is a pictures of Eli playing tetherball and the others are of Eli, Alora, and I riding the tractor cart thing through the corn patches. I think thats how you say it! lol! We had lots of fun!

Here is Carson (Eli's older Cousin) taking Eli up to go down the slide. Eli sure felt pretty cool going with his older cousin. They went a bunch of times. I was surprised how much he liked going down the slide. He has had problems with slides since he broke his leg on one...

Eli loves Tractor rides. This one is just for the kids. Eli had to ride it as many times as he could get in. Which was only two. There were people in line, and more things to see!!!

This is probable one of Eli's Favorite things there... I know so simple huh! The life of a kid!!! You have to pump the water and get the ducky on the other side. He loved it! He ended up soaking wet and covered in mud! Haha! I enjoyed taking these pictures. Minus the stepping in mud part! lol

My sweet Baby Thad!~ He is always so good. We all took our turns taking care of him while we were there. He is seriously the sweetest baby ever!~ I love him!

This is such a cool thing. It is a jumper hill in the ground. Come on... Sweet huh! Eli thought it was kind of neat. He started off with a few belly flops on it. Then I helped push him up to the top. He didn't like it on the top of it to much because the other kids were knocking him down and jumping around him. So Alora (his cousin) came to the rescue and brought him back down. He was so nice to pose for me in a few of the pictures. Lucky me!

Grandpa Jeff... Where to start... Eli had a BLAST with him! They mowed the yard, after which, Grandpa Jeff hooked up the wagon to the back of the tractor so they could go around the block together. Haha! Grandpa would give him a popsicle while he would sit back for the ride. Grandpa pushed him on the swing, picked some cherry tomatoes for Eli to taste ( which I here he did like), went to feed the ducks, did some gardening, and so much more. And at the end of the night Grandpa saved a seat for Eli downstairs on the recliner where they snuggled and watched some tv together. I am so glad they had so much fun together. I could see so much of Luke in Jeff, it was so weird! It made me miss Luke and I was glad Eli has Grandpa while he is gone. I love you honey! We will see you soon!

So during the week we stayed at Josh and Laura's house. Which was alot of fun to hang out. Laura and I did get a girls night out! In which, I had a blast, Thanks for being such a good date Laura!! lol Anyways, they have CHICKENS! Eli loved to chase them and just watch them. He would get so made when they would go in the Chicken coop! haha! He would say, NO! GO!!!! lol My funny Eli! He would also help get the eggs out and bring them to the house. The only problem was that once he got into the house with his new found prize (an egg). He didn't want to give it up!! lol My funny kid!

Since we have been gone, Josh and Laura have done so much to there yard. It looks great! Good job with all the hard work. It has really payed off!!!

Josh was so nice to take Eli for a four wheeler ride. Which I think it was one of his firsts! He loved it! It was so much fun to watch him.
Well thanks for a great week park family! We had a BLAST!!! And for all of the help with my broken down truck! It is fixed, I am home save and sound! I love you all.. Until next time~!

Matching Pajama's

I am a nerd I know! I love having boys so close in age. I have really been enjoying making them twins every chance I get. I know if Luke was around he might kill me for making them match all the time. But you know what, I think it is cute, and I am going to do it while they let me. haha! This is one of the many outfits I have of them matching! Two Cute Boys!

Sweet baby Thad!

Well I just wanted to post a couple of pics of my sweet baby Thad! I love you I love you I love you!!! He is so happy and sweet! I have really enjoyed him! XOXO

Here is a video I took of him, just so you can see how he is! He loves to laugh and play! And is very ticklish!

It is too cute of a story not to tell... I got in the shower one morning really cute. Eli was watching cartoons and Thad was sleeping. I was just about to get out of the shower and all of a sudden I heard Thad start crying, so I quickly started to wash the conditioner out of my hair, and then he went quite. So I got out and Eli was in his bed entertaining him. So cute and what a wonderful older brother. I of course positioned them so I could take a quick picture. Every time Thadeus starts to cry, Eli will say "Oh NO! The BABY!" haha too cute! Love my boys!

Fun in the Tub!

We had the privilage to have Nataile and Portor hang out with us last week. It was alot of fun to hang out all day together. And of course playing all day gives you dirty boys. So we gave them all a bath. Eli and Thad always enjoy taking baths. It was just alot of fun to have some company! Love you guys.

RODEO ROUND UP!

Well yes, somehow during all this crazyness we made time to attend the Saint George Rodeo! It was alot of fun. I really enjoy going. But as you can tell by all the pictures, Eli was exhausted!!! And that is an understatement!lol He did find time to enjoy seeing all of the horses and animals.
When they started the Rodeo, they made a special tribute to the Troops, Fireman, Police, etc.. I thought it was really neat. Eli loved the Tank! I went with my sisters, minus two, Melissa and Becky, but it was a blast to go with everyone. I forgot how much I missed being around the family. Love you guys!

Now I Have blogged a ton! I am finally somewhat caught up. So when you get down to the bottom of the page. Make sure to Hit Older Posts, Cause there are New Posts that are still on there. I think I have done like 7 or so new posts. So make sure you catch them all!!!
